~Summer
2008
Busy, busy, busy!
 |
Anastasia
shot the lead female role in “Cherchez La Femme”,
written
and directed by Idit Dritz. Idit
teaches Cinematography at Howard University and is an AFI grad.
Anastasia
plays Rita, a woman dying of lung cancer who extracts revenge on her husband.
Idit,
her crackerjack crew (all AFI alumni, now working professionally),
and Anastasia’s wonderful co-star, David Bardeen
(Yale-MFA, Acting) beautifully supported the intense emotional
work the script demanded. |
On
the lighter side of summer, Anastasia shot a sketch comedy
webisde called “Twinkle”, which pokes fun at the MTV series
about blinged-out Sweet 16 birthday parties of the rich and famous.
Anastasia also shot a print campaign for Suzanne Somer’s
FaceMaster. Ms. Somers was lovely and gracious and the shoot
was a huge success.
